Student & Faculty Training
Institute of Brain Education is provided with a Vimeo Playlist of curated research training material to help students and faculty get started with their research needs and successfully navigate and use the research databases.
The LIRN Librarian service also provides orientations and other live webinars on specific subject areas.
Faculty Support & Collaboration
The LIRN Librarian team is available to advise faculty on developing research assignments and incorporating online library resource content into the curriculum. The LIRN Librarian team can assist faculty with their own research as they contribute to their disciplines. Many times, when a research assignment is created in a course, students need more direction and training to learn how to apply research strategies to refine and simplify their search in order to get the results they need. The LIRN Librarian team help faculty refine research assignments to align with the resources and search experience students will encounter in the online library. The LIRN Librarian team identifies sources and suggest search strategies to share so that students encounter the right mix of challenge and support.
